Optical Brightener Masterbatch
Optical brighteners are used to improve the color of various plastics. Optical Brightening Agents are added to many substrates to reduce yellowing, improve whiteness and enhance the brightness of the product. Optical whiteners function by absorbing the ultraviolet radiation region (340-370 nm) and re-emitting blue light under the region (420-470 mm). The emitted blue light will reduce the yellow color of the substrate and impart a brighter and fresher appearance. Master batch is available with various carrier polymers PS, SAN, PC and PET.

02 - Antioxidant Masterbatch
The Polymers are subject to attack from various outside sources throughout their life cycle, during polymerization, processing under high heat and the end-use application. Degradation which primarily consists of a change in the molecular weight characteristics of a polymer can manifest itself in a variety of forms. These include discoloration, change in viscosity, loss of physical properties, loss of clarity and surface crazing.
Thermo-oxidative degradation takes place by a free radical mechanism called autoxidation, which leads to a variety of oxidative reactions which either causes chain scission of the polymer for decrease of the molecular weight or by recombination reactions increase of the molecular weight. “ANOWAL" Antioxidant Masterbatches offer excellent protection against thermo-oxidative degradation and discoloration of polymers.
03 - UV Masterbatch
All plastic products exposed to heat, light and oxygen, are subjected to degradation, i.e., loss of their mechanical and physical properties. This process is called photo degradation. The degradation process can be retarded and the useful life of plastic products prolonged by the i ion of stabilizers in the polymer mass. The most important reason causing degradation of pasties is the UV-radiation of the sun. The energy carried by this radiation initiates or accelerates chain chemical reactions in the polymer's molecules, causing chain-scission and ss linking. As a result, the plastic product is cracking, chalking, color changes and the loss of physical properties. Walton offers a wide range of UV stabilizers Masterbatches. These cover applications in agriculture, industrial and food packaging, polymers such as PE, PP, PS, ABS, range from standard grades to highly performing stabilizer packages based on the latest generation of HALS stabilizers.
